HiFiMan's RE-ZERO is a superb sounding in-ear headphone with metal construction. Its silver coil delivers big bass performance. RE-ZERO's 16 ohm impedance makes it suitable for both portable music players and stay-at-home headphone amplifiers. These balanced-design earphones use a TRRS balanced headphone plug and include a standard 3.5mm headphone plug adapter. Frequency response is an impressive 15 Hz to 22 kHz. "What is especially noticeable with the RE-ZEROs is the improved treble response over the RE0s," notes Frederik S. in his TechPowerUp.com review for August 10, 2010. "The treble is more lively and extends a bit further. Bass wise the ZEROs have a touch more, but are still not bass monsters by any stretch of imagination." If you want to use RE-ZERO earphones with a regular headphone jack, please note that you need to use the balance four-pin TRRS plug with a TRS plug adapter (included). Otherwise, RE-ZERO will only have sound in one channel.
